Website Optimization Priorities

10 November 2009 2 Comments

Search-Engine-MarketingLink building for your Website is probably THE most important aspect of Search Engine Optimization and should take up the greatest percentage of your time and effort that you devote to SEO

Having said that, your link building campaign is a long term process and takes time to build and grow and develop, especially if you are in a very competitive market with competitive keywords, and a good quantity of keyword rich links can take months to establish a successful campaign

However, for your less competitive and non-competitive keywords, the whole process can be concluded in just a few weeks.

If you have a less than stellar Website then you will find it that much harder to get those quality inbound links.

You will no doubt hear the saying ‘Content Is King’ over and over again, but it is in fact absolutely true – if you have good quality content on your Website then you will no doubt receive a significant difference in your volumes of traffic

Also with content, quality usually matters much more than quantity. A small Website with a handful of pages with quality content will almost always fare better than a larger Website in the same market/niche that has a lesser quality of content

One of the main goals of good content, apart from providing something of worth to your real-life visitors, is that it will aid your Link Building campaigns and keep the cyberspace visitors (Search Engine spiders) happy
